Edged by the meandering Mississippi River, St. Louis is defined by its landmark Gateway Arch, but home also to cultural sights, river-based attractions and the Anheuser-Busch headquarters there's no cause for boredom nor thirst on a good city tour.
This may not be the rockiest trail in Colorado, but it is an extremely muddy one. Come prepared to extract your vehicle - the wetness is the challenge here, if you can bypass the boggiest parts. Trees line this trail on either side. This is in the Roosevelt National Forest, after all.
