Edged by the meandering Mississippi River, St. Louis is defined by its landmark Gateway Arch, but home also to cultural sights, river-based attractions and the Anheuser-Busch headquarters there's no cause for boredom nor thirst on a good city tour.
This trails is in the Comanche Peak Wilderness. Due to heavy usage, visitors must camp at designated sites and fires are prohibited. This scenic lake offers good fishing.

Take Highway 69 south from Westcliffe (Westcliffe is 50 miles west of Pueblo) to County Road 140 (Schoolfield Lane). Turn right on CR 140 and follow it to the Comanche / Venable Trailhead.
