Mississippi River town, Hannibal, was the hometown of Mark Twain, but in addition to literary sights find here ample opportunity to boat, fish, hike, bike or cruise as needed.
At first look, this appears like a rolling beginner's trek through the forest. It is that, but there are plenty of off-shoot trails, which can be very rocky and technically difficult. The "Hill of Life" is notoriously tricky.
