Description
In the shadow of Great Sand Dunes National Park, the San Luis Lakes are a unique series of small wetland ponds. Birds fill the sky over this area most of the year, and big game such as elk and deer can be seen roaming the surrounding countryside. Boating is offered on the largest of the lakes, as well as fishing throughout the state park.
