Opened to the public in 1986, Longview Lake Park records over 1,000,000 visitors annually. This park complex contains a large number of recreational features, managed by Jackson County. Located just minutes from south Kansas City, Longview Lake offers 930 acres of water entertainment. Getaway with the whole family for an exciting day of power boating, water skiing, jet skiing or a relaxing pontoon boat ride. Located in Longview Lake Park, Longview Lake plays host site for many of Jackson County Parks and Recreation's special events.
