  • Amherst / Northampton

The Pioneer Valley is composed of Amherst, Northampton and South Hadley running north to south. These towns share ownership of the "Five College Consortium" (linked academically, economically and culturally) Smith College, Mount Holyoke College, Amherst College, Hampshire College and the University of Massachusetts.

  • Branson

Branson is an Ozark Mountain entertainment mecca. A thriving live music and theater scene hosts national and international acts, and abundant shopping opportunities, theme parks, and easy access to three lakes make the area one of the nation's top family vacation destinations.

  • Joplin

Joplin serves as a cultural, commercial and medical center for southwestern Missouri. This historic mining town is often listed as one of the best places to live in the United States. Joplin is a college town with big city amenities.

  • Lake of the Ozarks

Central location and fun atmosphere make the Lake of the Ozarks Missouri's premiere vacation and conference destination. The 54,000-acre lake has room for recreational boating, houseboating, and water sports, and the 1,150-mile shoreline is curvy with enough inlets and coves to provide quiet space for fishing and sightseeing cruises.

  • Sturbridge

Sturbridge is a small town southwest of Worcester. Old Sturbridge Village is a living history museum re-creating life in 1830's New England. It contains forty restored structures filled with the antiques and collectibles of its creators, the Wells brothers. Sturbridge has a number of accommodations, as it is in close proximity to the Mellea Winery in West Dudley, the Hyland Orchard & Brewery and the Brimfield Antique Show and Flea Market six miles west of Sturbridge.

  • The Berkshires

The Berkshires are a range of the Appalachian Mountains in western Massachusetts, and a popular vacation destination for many New Englanders. Part of the Appalachian Trail runs through the Massachusetts Berkshires, and combined with the Berkshire Botanical Gardens, the area is a well-trafficked spot for outdoor lovers. Known for combining culture with the countryside, the Berkshires have lives music events, summer festivals and arts, amidst a backdrop of mountains and hillsides.

  • Truman Lake

Harry S. Truman Reservoir is an excellent fishing and water sports venue. Four long arms make up the 55,600-acre lake that is a popular crappie, largemouth bass and catfishing destination. During spring and summer the lake is busy with recreational boaters, skiers and swimmers.

  • Worcester

Worcester is the second largest city in Massachusetts, and is one of the fastest growing. It serves as a crossroads between several major New England cities including Providence, Hartford and Boston. The Worcester Art Museum is notable as the city's main attraction. Worcester is also home to the American Antiquarian Society which holds more American material published before the early 1800s than the Library of Congress. Shopping and dining options are available in the downtown area, and new developments are cropping up all over downtown including a Broadway theater project.
